Challenge
Jungheinrich faced a common yet critical challenge in leadership development: soft skills such as communication, feedback, and conflict resolution involved extensive in-person training. At the same time, there was a growing need for scalable learning formats that could be integrated into the daily work routine and support the company’s strategic focus on artificial intelligence.
Traditional training formats could hardly meet these requirements. Executives have little time, training sessions are difficult to standardize, and they offer few opportunities for repetition or customization. Jungheinrich was also looking for a training option that would work internationally but would also be locally relevant and linguistically accessible.
Solution
With the Leadership Lab, Jungheinrich opted for AI-powered, interactive soft skill training programs that is available directly on the desktop.
The program focuses on real-life simulations in which managers practice typical situations from their daily work, such as critical employee reviews and feedback and delegation scenarios. Unlike traditional training programs, employees can jump right into the training and start practicing instead of going through lengthy theoretical modules.
