From seminars to learning companions

In-person training and coaching provide vital motivation and enable hands-on learning. But they’re hard to scale and end the moment participants leave the room. Without repetition, new knowledge fades quickly.

Digital learning formats haven’t been able to bridge this gap so far and have remained limited to theory.

AI changes everything: Role-playing and coaching with AI create a learning companion that is always available and responds personally. Learners practice real-life situations, receive immediate feedback, and can repeat what they’ve learned as often as needed until it sticks.

AI also changes how learning content is created. No more bottlenecks caused by time-consuming content creation—experts define the topic and method, and the learner designs the rest themselves in conversation with the AI. Learning becomes as individual as the learners themselves.

And: Learning integrates into everyday life—when needed, rather than stockpiled. Do you have an important feedback meeting on your Outlook calendar? The AI recommends dates for preparation. The days when learners log into an LMS and search through 1,000 courses to find one that’s somewhat suitable are coming to an end.

This creates learning experiences that transform the way people work. In 2025, we were recognized as a “Top 3” winner in the HR Innovation Award for this approach.

Stronger Together

Alongside TÜV NORD, Oliver Göck and Thomas Hoger are the minds behind 3spin Learning. In 2020, they founded 3spin Learning using their own funds from their successful digital agency (ranked in the top 20 by PAGE). The focus: immersive learning, in other words practical learning in digital form—with clients such as Lufthansa, E.ON, and Boehringer Ingelheim. In 2021, the first external investment followed from the German state of Hesse.

In 2024, TÜV NORD made a landmark decision: By purchasing shares and providing millions in funding, one of Germany’s best-known corporations and training providers committed to the digital transformation of learning and has been the largest shareholder ever since.

Today, 3spin Learning and TÜV NORD work together every day toward a shared goal: redefining learning. In-person and digital, all from a single source.
